Apple Pie

Q: How many family members does it take to make an apple pie?

A: Five. Cole to add the cinnamon, Hannah to help roll the dough, me to slice apples and put it all together, Brent to clean up the dinner to make room for pie making, and Molly to make the pie dough (as Molly quoted today: Friends are the family you choose). Thanks for the delicious pie dough Molly!

Your welcome, sister. After all, our kids are cousins, right?

It takes a village to make a pie! I usually need help from Molly on most everyting I bake - yesterday it was her chocolate cake. yummm!

So is this what you were doing instead of coming to my dance show? Just kidding, love you Kirstie.

I made an apple pie Saturday. I was motivated by an apple tree growing free in the foothills behind my fourplex. The problem with wild (feral) apples is that they tend to be small. I spent hours, many of them, peeling the little mofos. I need kids, or bigger apples.
